The Service
KARTI is a platform for the sales and distribution of digital payment cards, designed and developed by DOTCONVERTECS. DOTCONVERTECS is the sole owner of this application. The cards presented to users via KARTI service belongs to the respected vendors and issuers.
Terms of Service
When you subscribe to KARTI, you have the right to cancel your subscription at any time. You have the right to explore KARTI service at the mobile app or the website using the username and password you created on registration time without the need to purchase any cards. If you purchased a card you will find it in your account anytime you access your account from the website or the mobile app. Once you purchase a card from KARTI service, the price will be deducted from your mobile balance and will not be eligible for a refund if you decide to cancel your purchase.
You may cancel your subscription to KARTI at any time via the mobile app or on KARTI’s website. The termination shall have effect on the purchased cards that you have already paid for, and you will not be refunded for any remaining amounts in the purchased cards you have already paid for.
KARTI reserves the right to terminate and/or suspend your account at any time in case of unauthorized or illegal use of the service. If KARTI terminates or suspends your account for any suspicious or illegal activity, KARTI shall have no liability or responsibility to you, and will not refund any amounts that you have previously paid.
KARTI’s services are intended only for users who are 13 years of age or older. If you are under the age of 13, then you are not permitted to register for an account at KARTI. If your age is between 13 and 18 (or the age of legal majority under applicable law in you country), you may only use KARTI under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who registers for an account at KARTI and thereby agrees to be bound by these Terms. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that your age is 13 years or more.
In order to user KARTI, you will be required to register for an account. You may only register for one account and you agree to: (i) provide accurate, current and complete information; (ii) maintain and promptly update your account information to keep it accurate, current and complete; (iii) maintain the security of your account and accept all risks of unauthorized access to your account; and (iv) promptly notify KARTI team if you discover or otherwise suspect that your account has been subject to hacking or other unauthorized use.
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which KARTI collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a 'User') of the www.KARTI.com website and KARTI app ('Website/Mobile App'). This privacy policy applies to both the ('Website/Mobile App') and all products and services offered by KARTI.
Personal identification information
It is possible that we may collect personal information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our site, register on the site, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our ('Website/Mobile App'). Users may be asked for, as appropriate, name, email address, mobile number, credit card information…etc. Users may, however, visit our ('Website/Mobile App') anonymously. Personal identification information will be collected from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Users can always refuse to supply personally identification information, expecting that it may prevent them from engaging in certain ('Website/Mobile App') related activities.
Non-personal identification information
It is possible that we may collect non-personal information about Users when they interact with our ('Website/Mobile App'). Non-personal information include but not limited to browser name, used language, country, the type of computer and other technical information about Users means of connection to our ('Website/Mobile App'), such as the operating system and the Internet service providers utilized and other similar information.
Web browser cookies
Our ('Website/Mobile App') may use “cookies” to enhance User experience (UX). User's web browser places cookies on computerdevice hard drive for record keeping purposes and sometimes to record information about them. User may choose to set their web browser to refuse cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If they do so, some parts of the ('Website/Mobile App') may not function properly.
How we use collected information
KARTI may collect and use Users personal information for the following purposes:
- To improve customer service: collected information helps us respond to customer’s requests and support their needs more efficiently.
- Personalizing user experience (UX): collected information might be used in aggregation to understand how Users use the services and resources provided on our ('Website/Mobile App').
- To improve our ('Website/Mobile App'): we may use feedback provided by our users to improve our products and services.
- Payments processing: information provided by Users about themselves when placing an order will be used only to provide service to that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to provide the service.
- For promotions, contests, surveys or other ('Website/Mobile App') feature
- To send to Users news about topics might be of their interest
- It may also be used to respond to inquiries, questions, and/or other requests. If User decides to register in our mailing list, they will receive emails that may include company news, updates, related product or service information, etc. If at any time the User would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email or User may contact us via our Site/App.
Information Security
We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information, username, password, transaction information and data stored on our ('Website/Mobile App'). Sensitive and private data exchange between the ('Website/Mobile App') and its Users happen over a SSL secured communication channel and is encrypted and protected with digital signatures.
Sharing your personal information
We do not sell, trade, or rent Users personal identification information to others. We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors and users with our business partners, trusted affiliates and advertisers for the purposes outlined above. We may use third party service providers to help us operate our business and the ('Website/Mobile App') or administer activities on our behalf, such as sending out newsletters or surveys. We may share your information with these third parties for those limited purposes provided that you have given us your permission.
Changes to this privacy policy
KARTI has the right to update this privacy policy at any time. When we do, we will revise the updated date at the bottom of this page. We encourage Users to frequently check this page for any changes to stay informed about how we are helping to protect the personal information we collect. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this privacy policy periodically and become aware of modifications.
Trademarks, Intellectual Properties and Limited Licenses
Unless otherwise indicated, KARTI services and all content and other materials, including but not limited to KARTI logo, terms of sale, designs, texts, graphics, images, information, data, software, sound files, video files, other files made available within the services, and any documentation or other material provided to you by or on behalf of KARTI (collectively, “KARTI Service Content”) are the proprietary property of KARTI and DOTCONVERTECS or our licensors or users and are protected by the laws of Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the international intellectual property laws. KARTI hereby grants you a limited, nonexclusive, non-sublicensable license to access and use KARTI services and content for the purpose of purchasing, sending or managing digital payment cards or receiving other services under these terms only; however, such license is subject to these terms and you are not permitted to (a) sell, rent, lease, lend, redistribute, sublicense or make commercial use of the Services or the content; (b) copy, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or attempt to discover the source code of our services or content; (c) modify, alter or otherwise make any derivative uses of the services or the content, or any portion thereof; (d) remove, alter or obscure any copyright, trademark or other proprietary rights notice included in the services or content; (e) use any data mining, robots or similar data gathering or extraction methods; (f) download (other than the page caching) any portion of the services or the content, except as expressly permitted via the services; and (g) use the services or the content other than for their intended purposes. Any use of the KARTI services or the content other than as specifically authorized herein, without the prior written permission of KARTI or DOTCONVERTECS, is strictly prohibited and will terminate the license granted. Such unauthorized use may also violate applicable laws, including without limitation, copyright and trademark laws and applicable communications regulations and statutes. Unless explicitly stated by KARTI or DOTCONVERTECS, nothing in these terms shall be construed as conferring any license to intellectual property rights, whether by estoppel, implication or otherwise. This license is revocable at any time.
KARTI and its logo and any other product or service names, logos or slogans are trademarks in the Jordan and in other countries, and may not be copied, imitated or used, in whole or in part, without the prior written permission of KARTI or DOTCONVERTECS. All other trademarks, registered trademarks, product names and company names or logos mentioned in the Services are the property of their respective owners and may not be used without permission of the applicable trademark holder. Reference to any products, services, processes or other information, by name, trademark, manufacturer, supplier or otherwise does not constitute or imply endorsement, sponsorship or recommendation by KARTI.
SPECIAL PROVISIONS FOR iOS MOBILE APP USERS
Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the terms, the additional terms set forth in this section (SPECIAL PROVISIONS FOR iOS MOBILE APP USERS) will apply to the installation and use of KARTI’s mobile applications on iOS devices. Terms in this section govern any updates to, or supplements or replacements for, KARTI’s mobile applications, unless separate terms accompany such updates, supplements or replacements, in which case the separate terms will apply.
B- Scope of License
KARTI hereby grants you a nonexclusive, nontransferable, limited license to install and use KARTI’s mobile applications on any iOS device that you own or control, solely as permitted by the terms and the usage rules set forth in the Apple App Store terms of service.
C- Maintenance and Support
You acknowledge and agree that Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance and support services with respect to KARTI’s mobile applications.
D- Warranty
You acknowledge and agree that Apple is not responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, with respect to KARTI’s mobile applications. In the event of any failure of KARTI’s mobile applications to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any, paid by you to Apple for the KARTI mobile applications; and to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to such applications. You also acknowledge and agree that to the extent that there are any applicable warranties, or any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses attributable to any failure to conform to any such applicable warranty; such will be the sole responsibility of KARTI. However, you understand and agree that in accordance with the terms, KARTI has disclaimed all warranties of any kind with respect to KARTI’s mobile applications, and therefore, there are no warranties applicable to such applications.
E- Product Claims
You acknowledge and agree that as between Apple and DOTCONVRTECSKARTI, KARTI, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any of your claims or any third-party claims relating to KARTI’s mobile applications or your possession and/or use of such applications, including, but not limited to: (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that the applications fail to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation
F- Intellectual Property Rights
You acknowledge and agree that, in the event of any third-party claim that KARTI’s mobile applications, or your possession and use thereof, infringe that third-party’s intellectual property rights, KARTI, and not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement and discharge of any such intellectual property infringement claim to the extent required under these terms.
G- Legal Compliance
You represent and warrant that: (i) you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a “terrorist supporting” country; and (ii) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
H- Third-Party Beneficiary
You acknowledge and agree that Apple, and Apple’s subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of this section (SPECIAL PROVISIONS FOR iOS MOBILE APP USERS) terms, and that, upon your acceptance of the Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce this section (SPECIAL PROVISIONS FOR iOS MOBILE APP USERS) terms against you as a third-party beneficiary thereof.
Cards Usage
iTunes cards and codes are valid only on iTunes Store for U.S. Requires iTunes account and prior acceptance of license and usage terms. To open an account you must be 13+ and in the U.S. Compatible software, hardware, and Internet access required. Not redeemable for cash, no refunds or exchanges (except as required by law). Code may not be used to purchase any other merchandise, allowances or iTunes gifting. Data collection and use subject to Apple Customer Privacy Policy see www.apple.com/privacy, unless stated otherwise. The risk of loss and title for code passes to purchaser on transfer. Codes are issued and managed by Apple Value Services, LLC ("Issuer"). Neither Apple nor Issuer is responsible for any loss or damage resulting from lost or stolen codes or use without permission. By using this ('Website/Mobile App'), you signify your acceptance of this policy. If you do not agree to this policy, please do not use our ('Website/Mobile App').
